UM Central enjoy media conference in London

Last Thursday saw the UM Central media teams of UM Birmingham, UM Bristol, UM Leeds, and Media at Demand London converge at Bishopsgate for a fantastic session of collaboration and learning, culminating in a good old fashioned team night out.

Group MD Kevin Murphy kicked off proceedings and over the course of the day each team shared examples of great work and worked together to further develop our centralised media frameworks that have created a consistent approach across all offices to maximise efficiency and effectiveness for our clients.

Newly appointed Joint Heads of UM Birmingham, Ruepal Aujla and Lisa Barrett discussed exciting new developments for the Birmingham office, and Group Head of Trading Grant Crymble, Strategy Director Nicola Daniel and Head of Digital Transformation Mayur Vohra also contributed excellent sessions. The day was closed out with a fun, yet practical session from TikTok, which thankfully didn’t involve any mass dancing tasks.

To unwind after such a rich day of thought-provoking content, the team headed to Hijingo (‘multi-sensory futuristic bingo’) and ended the evening with some drinks and dancing. As for the rest of the night, what happens on a media night out stays on a media night out….

Kev added: “All in all, it was a wonderful day. There are four exciting media teams growing in different locations as part of the UM Central vision, but we collectively know our strength is as one team. Today was a perfect demonstration of this in action.”
